I thought today might be the first day of Fall but according to my calendar, we have to wait until the 23rd this year - not sure about that. When I was growing up it was always the 21st and now it varies. I enjoy the cool mornings that are great for walking in the neighborhood - here in the south that means 60 degrees, yet it is still in the nineties in the afternoon. I don't recall a summer staying so warm for so long. I'm ready for some cooler days! Happy Stitching!

Your block is absolutely gorgeous. I am enjoying doing the applique' with the bright Kaffe fabrics, too. I thought this was the first day of fall, but like you my calendar says Sept. 23. I don't think it has varied before, but I could be wrong. We are to have another record high of 94 here tomorrow. May be good weather to stay inside and stitch.
Congrats on starting the Flower Pots quilt! This project was my first Kim design, and I am hooked. Now to quilt mine...?!
May I ask what is the fabric you used to make that lower left star? It's uber cute! ; )
