Flower Pots

This is my first completed block of Flower Pots, another beautiful quilt designed by Kim McLean, using many Kaffe Fassett fabrics. I love the way all the colors interact even when you might not put them together on your own!! Fun and simple to do. This pattern is from Glorious Color, along with many others by Kim.

Wow! This is nice and sooo colorful. I'd like to have a windchime of stained glass like this. Gorgeous!!

beautiful.... I am also doing Flower Pots so it is really great to see what others are doing with their blocks. I just posted my second block this afternoon and I am now working on the 3rd one which is the long right panel. Love your colors.

Is this a fused applique? Kinda looks like it. Beautiful!

In answer to Wendy's question - this is needle-turned hand applique. I use freezer paper for my pattern pieces, iron to the right side of my fabric and use the edge of the freezer paper as a guide to turn under by hand. I find it very relaxing and enjoyable and usually just stitch an hour or so a day.
